Up for sale is the Japanese LaserDisc release of Le Notti di Cabiria (Nights of Cabiria, 1957), Federico Fellini's Academy Award-winning masterpiece and one of the towering achievements of Italian neorealism, starring Giulietta Masina in the role that cemented her legend — the irrepressible, heartbreaking Roman streetwalker Cabiria, whose resilience in the face of repeated betrayal remains one of cinema's most moving portraits. This is catalog number HCL-1039, a 2-disc CLV mono set released by Hill Crane / Sohbi Ezoh Corporation, with Italian mono audio and Japanese subtitles, running 111 minutes. No OBI strip is present. The jacket is in very good condition — the striking minimalist black-and-white cover art featuring Masina's iconic face is clean and bright with light edge wear and a very faint hint of corner softening; the back cover is equally clean.
