This episode follows the spacecraft Helios on a journey through our solar system, beginning with humanity's ancestral dreamers and explorers as a framing device — tracing a crew including a Japanese pilot, a Native American, an Indian, and others representing global humanity. The episode explores the solar system in depth: the Sun's corona and energy, the nature of sunlight, planetary formation, and the deeper mysteries of our cosmic neighborhood. Features NHK Super Harp ultra-high-sensitivity camera footage, CG, special effects, and dramatic reconstruction. Music by Haru Takauchi. International co-production with RAIITV (Italy) and RAI-TV credited among production partners.
