Content

Universal Pictures' 1997 volcanic disaster thriller directed by Roger Donaldson. USGS volcanologist Harry Dalton is sent to the Pacific Northwest town of Dante's Peak to investigate signs of volcanic activity — but faces resistance from local officials reluctant to cause a panic. When the long-dormant volcano suddenly erupts, Dalton and town mayor Rachel Wando race to save the community.
