Up for sale is the Japanese LaserDisc release of Carmen (1984), directed by Francesco Rosi and based on Georges Bizet's celebrated opera. This is a 2-disc CLV set, catalog number SF108-1033, released in Japan by RCA/Columbia Pictures. The film stars Julia Migenes-Johnson in the title role alongside opera legend Plácido Domingo as Don José, with Lorin Maazel conducting the Orchestre National de France. A highly regarded cinematic opera experience filmed on location in Andalusia, Spain.

The jacket shows moderate shelf wear including light corner and edge wear consistent with age and handling, and minor surface scuffing to the red cover. A small handwritten notation is visible on one interior booklet page. The full Japanese liner note booklet is included and intact. Discs appear clean. This release does not include an OBI strip.
