Autumn Portrait is a Windham Hill ambient music video capturing the October colours of Windham County, Vermont, filmed with 35mm cameras and transferred to LaserDisc in association with Pioneer LDC. Featured artists include William Ackerman, Bill Quist, Alex de Grassi, Daniel Hecht, Shadowfax, Philip Aaberg, Mark Isham, Scott Cossu, and Micheál Ó Domhnaill & Billy Oskay — 13 tracks of new age and acoustic instrumental music paired with stunning autumn landscape photography. A companion piece to Water's Path, this production targets the same audiophile and ambient music enthusiast market and was one of the earliest examples of the music video LaserDisc genre.
