Content Description

Japanese pressing of Neil Jordan's acclaimed 1992 thriller The Crying Game, winner of the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay (第65回アカデミー賞脚本賞受賞, as noted on the front jacket). Stars Stephen Rea, Miranda Richardson, Forest Whitaker, Jaye Davidson, Adrian Dunbar, and Jim Broadbent. Music by Anne Dudley; theme song performed by Boy George.

A British soldier is taken hostage by the IRA, and an unlikely bond forms between him and one of his captors. After a tragedy, the captor travels to London seeking out the soldier's girlfriend — leading to one of cinema's most discussed plot twists. The obi tagline reads: 「この映画の"秘密"だけは、誰にも話さないで下さい。」 — "Please don't tell anyone the 'secret' of this film."
