Content Description

Complete Japanese Laserdisc box set for the Earth Arc (地球篇) and Special (特別興行) of the Tenchi Muyo! TV series — the first box of the TV collection, covering the entire Earth-based story arc. Directed by Hiroshi Negishi; series construction by Ryoe Tsukimura; character design by Hiroyuki Horiuchi; original character design by Masaki Kajishima; music by Seikou Nagaoka; produced by Pioneer LDC / AIC.

This box set contains TV volumes 1 through 6, covering episodes 1–13 plus the Special episode. Photos confirm the following volumes are present:

TV1 (disc 1): Episodes 1–2 — Series premiere; Ryoko arrives at Tenchi's school

TV2 (disc 2): Episodes 3–4 — Mihoshi and Kiyone introduced

TV3 (disc 3): Episodes 5–6 — Galaxy Police Mihoshi & Kiyone focus; includes "Ending Theater" bonus insert with production storyboard/ending animation breakdown

TV4 (disc 4): Episodes 7–8

TV5 (disc 5): Episodes 9–10

TV6 (disc 6): Episodes 11–13

Inserts

Each individual disc volume includes its own full-color episode guide newsletter insert, all numbered to match the volume (TV1–TV6). All inserts appear to be present. Each also includes an original Pioneer LDC mail-in response card (はがき). TV3 additionally includes a special "Ending Theater" production art/storyboard insert — a notable bonus piece with behind-the-scenes animation artwork. TV6 also includes a Yuzawa Park Resort '96 Ski Season promotional flyer — a charming and unusual period insert tucked into the disc.
