Two copies present across the photos. Images 1–2 show a copy that appears to still have original shrink wrap intact — sealed. Images 3–5 show a second copy that is open CIB; the cartridge is confirmed present in the tray (Image 5). However, no manual is visible in the open copy's interior shot — the left side of the case holds what appears to be an advertisement insert for Populous DS rather than the game's own manual. Please verify whether the manual is present before listing; if missing, this should be listed as CIB without manual or cartridge + case only.
Game Description
SimCity DS 2 is a Japan-exclusive city-building simulation sequel developed by EA and published for the Nintendo DS. The game's central concept spans human history — players begin building their city in the ancient era and guide it through the medieval, early modern, modern, and future periods, with the city and its culture evolving alongside the era. The back cover tagline reads: "Build a city to leave for tomorrow — city building that grows with the times." Game modes include Challenge Mode (progress through eras with your city intact), Free Play Mode (no game over condition, build freely), DS Streetpass Pass-By Communication Mode (exchange city photos with other players' Sims appearing in your menus), and Gallery Mode (view photos of your own city and cities received via wireless). This Japan-only sequel is a notable collector's item for SimCity fans and city-builder enthusiasts.
Import Compatibility Note
Japanese region cartridge — playable on any Nintendo DS or DS Lite regardless of region. Not compatible with DSi or 3DS without modification. Menus and text are in Japanese, but the gameplay follows the familiar SimCity formula and is largely navigable by series veterans.
