Up for sale is the Japanese LaserDisc release of Pierrot le Fou (1965), Jean-Luc Godard's landmark French New Wave masterpiece starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Anna Karina. The film follows Ferdinand, a man who flees his bourgeois life and takes to the road with the captivating Marianne, pursued by gangsters across the south of France. Considered one of Godard's finest works and a cornerstone of world cinema, this is catalog number SF078-1299, a 2-disc CLV set released in Japan by Pioneer LDC, presented in widescreen (CinemaScope) with a French mono audio track and Japanese subtitles.
