Only Yesterday (おもひでぽろぽろ) is the 1991 theatrical film from Studio Ghibli directed by Isao Takahata — one of the most acclaimed works in the Ghibli canon and a landmark of Japanese animation. The film follows Taeko, a 27-year-old Tokyo office worker who travels to rural Yamagata to help with the safflower harvest, and in doing so relives vivid memories of her fifth-grade self in 1966. The film is celebrated for its warm, nostalgic realism, masterful character animation, and poignant exploration of memory, growing up, and finding one's true self.

Condition Note

The jacket shows noticeable foxing (brown age spots) and yellowing, particularly in the upper corner areas, as visible in photos. The obi shows some wear. Discs are free of major scratches or flaws. Priced accordingly
