Up for sale is the Japanese LaserDisc release of Diva (1981), Jean-Jacques Beineix's electrifying and visually intoxicating debut feature — the film that launched the Cinéma du look movement and announced a bold new visual language for French cinema, following a young Parisian postal worker whose obsessive secret recording of an opera singer inadvertently pulls him into a dangerous criminal underworld. A massive international cult hit and César Award winner, this is catalog number COLM-6118, a 2-disc CLV widescreen set released in Japan by Nippon Columbia under the GAGA Film Library imprint, featuring MB Shure stereo sound and Japanese subtitles, running 118 minutes. No OBI strip is present, though the front jacket retains a partial red OBI remnant visible at the upper right edge suggesting one was once present. The cream jacket is in good to very good condition with moderate edge wear and light soiling on the back cover; the front cover art is clean and presentable. Discs appear clean. Note: a LaserDisc player is required for playback — this disc is not compatible with DVD or Blu-ray players.
