Two copies present. Images 1–2 show a copy with original shrink wrap intact — sealed, with the original Deutsche Grammophon sticker reading "Legendary Bach interpretations — for the first time on DVD / In commemoration of Karl Richter (1926–1981) on the 80th anniversary of his birth / In 5.1 DTS Surround Sound" still applied to the front. Image 3 shows an open CIB copy with disc confirmed present and appearing clean; interior insert confirmed present. Both cases show no visible cracks.

All six of J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concertos (BWV 1046–1051), performed by Karl Richter and the Münchener Bach-Orchester — released on DVD for the first time as a commemorative edition marking the 80th anniversary of Richter's birth. The back cover describes the release: "From the euphoric first to the solemn sixth, the Brandenburg Concertos feature some of Bach's finest and most popular orchestral music, interpreted here by legendary Bach specialist Karl Richter and his Münchener Bach-Orchester — for the first time on DVD." Karl Richter (1926–1981) remains one of the most revered Bach conductors and harpsichordists of the 20th century, and his recordings with the Münchener Bach-Orchester are considered benchmark interpretations. This release is part of Deutsche Grammophon's Karl Richter legacy series.
