Japanese pressing of Henry Koster's beloved 1937 Universal musical comedy 100 Men and a Girl, starring Deanna Durbin (age 16 at time of filming) and featuring conductor Leopold Stokowski appearing as himself, with Adolphe Menjou, Alice Brady, Eugene Pallette, Mischa Auer, and Billy Gilbert. Original screen play by Bruce Manning, Charles Kenyon, and James Mulhauser; story by Hans Kraly; executive producer Joe Pasternak; music by Charles Previn (Academy Award winner for Best Score at the 1937 Oscar ceremony). Directed by Henry Koster.

A charming Depression-era musical in which a young woman convinces the legendary conductor Leopold Stokowski to lead an orchestra of unemployed musicians assembled by her out-of-work trombonist father. Durbin received a special Academy Award in 1938 for her contribution to cinema that year.
